You can also download the DHBVN Bill Payment App to pay your electricity bill. After you download the app, you will have to login using your credentials. Once you log in, you will be able to view your bill on the portal and then proceed to complete the payment using any one of the modes of payment - debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI, or e-wallets.
There are various e-wallet facilities available today such as Paytm, Amazon Pay, Freecharge, Mobikwik, etc., which aid in paying your electricity bill. You can download either the app or simply visit the website of any of these e-wallet companies and proceed to pay your electricity bill.
You can also download UPI apps such as Google Pay, Phone Pe, BHIM UPI, etc., to directly complete the payment of your electricity bill.

You can pay your electricity bill offline by visiting the nearest section office or collection center along with your bill to complete the payment. You can complete the payment of your electricity bills by using modes of payment such as credit card, debit card, UPI, e-wallets, cheque, demand draft, or simply by cash.
How to pay your DHBVN electricity bill online
Given below are the steps you will have to follow in order to pay your DHBVN electricity bill online:
- Visit the official website of DHBVN
- On the menu, locate the 'Pay Your Bill Option, and click on it
- Click on 'Quick Pay'
- Enter your account number, followed by your registered mobile number and email ID
- Enter the captcha given
- Click on 'Proceed'
- You will be able to view your billing amount, following which you will then have to complete the payment using any one of the modes of payment which are credit card, debit card, net banking, UPI, or e-wallet
- You will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) on your mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on 'Submit'
- Your payment will be completed. Save the e-receipt for future reference
